Well, is longer better? This depends on the type of content you’re hoping to achieve. Google and search engines enjoy good, unique, and creative contents. Things that people search for and have relevancy. If you’ve ever noticed that Google has the ability to tell you how many results have been found relating to your search in xx## number of seconds. Generally very fast. But how many users do you believe actually go past page 1 or maybe up to 5. Certainly, I can say i never go past page 3. Generally the information found there may just be one a few keywords or a totally different subject.

So as for the content, in our past example of pizza we were able to see how one sentence would differ from a paragraph as this would potentially be even better for an article. Too much may still be relevant. Too little may still be specific.

Imagine searching for wikipedia for understanding pizza. It will discuss the history, the anatomy, where it varies, where people eat it, the records, types of paired dishes etc. well I can assure you on my first search of pizza what popped up are certain:

  • Relevant Businesses
  • Reviews
  • Websites
  • More Ad’s
  • Next page
